SSX Deadly Descents
Some of you may remember the SSX Snowboarding video games that EA Canada pumped out a long time ago, but for those who have never heard of the series and don't have time to revisit classics, I've got some good news for you. EA Canada has announced that it is releasing a new SSX game, this time with a more realistic feel Imagine Shaun White's Snowboarding on crack. When I say realistic, I mean it has somewhat realistic physics and graphics, the whole snowboarding on the rim of a canyon just isn't something you should do. Unlike the previous SSX games, this SSX Deadly Descents offers plenty of mountains to snowboard down, the developers boast a googlemaps-like interface for finding mountain ranges to explore. With mountain ranges all over the SSX world, there are around 70 individual mountains for you to fly down at breakneck speeds.
The developers have also announced that they are planning on including new content such as the wing suit, which is essentially a base jumping suit, (like a flying squirrel) and pickaxe tools for climbing. With what seems to be one of the best high-end gaming engines backed behind this game, SSX Deadly Descents is sure to deliver phenomenal gameplay and plenty of adventures on the steep slopes of over 70 mountains. Be on the lookout for this groundbreaking installment in the SSX series sometime around 2012!
